I bought my first rabbit from a pet
store and named her Charlotte. When I opened up Duke's Backyard
I felt sorry for her and bought her a friend. This time I bought a
blue tort buck from a breeder and fell in love. He was so much
sweeter the Charlotte could ever think of being. She wouldn't
let me hold her. She ran when ever I came around and would bite
me without reason. This showed me the difference people can
make on the personality of the pets they breed, along with having a
good blood line. Soon after I got Rafael I took in a litter of
abandoned kittens. I bottle fed and raised them finding that I
couldn't part with them. I then raised another much larger
litter and realized I had a real gift for raising very sweet and
loving babies. That is when I decided to try breeding Holland Lops.
I did all my research and determined that the Midwest needed some
color and started from there. I'm not into showing right now
being so busy with my
business, but hope to start going in the near future. I have
dedicated myself to raising the most beautiful, sweet, well socialized
rabbits around. So if this sounds great to you, come on in and
check out my herd.
