LaStat's Cattery

So why open a cattery?

Well there are a lot of reasons.   As many of you may know when I first opened Duke's I took in a lot of kittens that didn't have moms.  The bottle feeding and watching them grow up into wonderful pets was such a joy to me and I really miss it. The last kitten I took in has just stolen my heart.  His name is La Stat and he is a Ragdoll mix.  From the day I brought him home I have had the idea of starting a cattery.  I have always wanted to own a Ragdoll....the most wonderful cat in my eyes. Now it is a year later and I finally found and bought my first female pure breed Ragdoll.

So why Ragdolls?

Ragdolls are know for being one of largest and most affectionate cats in the world. They like to follow there people around like a dog and love to be held.  They don't have that " pet me when I want to petted" attitude.  They were given the name Ragdoll because when you pick one up they are as limp as a rag doll. They have a wonderful coat that doesn't matt and with normal brushing it is easy to keep  up with.  Oh, and there eyes....they have the biggest blue eyes.  So to make a long story short, they have all the qualities I believe make the perfect cat.  Learn more about this breed on the Ragdolls page.

Why buy a kitten from us?

Well as you can tell buy the rest of my website I love animals.  I have always just had a way with them.  All of my clients can tell you how sweet and wonderful the cats and rabbits I have raised are. " I'm getting a real name for myself"  So, I believe that the Ragdolls we breed at LaStat's will be the most wonderful cat you will ever own.  They are breed at my home so they will socialized with dogs an other cats. We are a closed cattery, that means for the health of all your cats we don't allow any cats from outside the facility to enter.  It is so importance that we keep all our cats free of disease.  The kittens are taken to the vet 24hours after they are born to get their first check up.  Then at six weeks the get their first set of shots and get dewormed.  We do not allow any kitten to leave until they are at least 12 weeks of age.  Before some  kittens leave they are  spay and neutered, with exception to the kittens bought with breeding rights..  Then they also get their second and third set of shots.  All of this is included in the price of each kitten.  So all you have to do when you leave is  take your new baby in to meet your vet and get your health guarantee validated. Each kitten also goes home with a goodie bag from their Nana.
